Sunday 19 July - VMTA Clifford Lecture
The Victorian Music Teachers' Association annual lecture in honour of May Clifford will be given this year by Malcolm Bilson. In addition to his activities in Cornell's performance-practice program, Bilson gives annual fortepiano workshops, master classes and lectures around the world. In his educational video entitled "Knowing the Score", Bilson discusses the question: Do we really know how to read the notation of the so-called 'classical' masters?
