Three concerts featuring guitar staff from the School of Music (Parkville), Faculty of the VCA and Music, The University of Melbourne
Concert 1 - Monday, August 17
John Griffiths (vihuela and lute)
Music from Spain and Spanish Naples. Including works by Milán, Mudarra, Daza and Dentice.
Concert 2 - Monday, September 14
Geoffrey Morris (guitar)
Program to include works by Giacomo Gorzanis, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Ennio Morricone and Francisco Tárrega.
Concert 3 - Monday, October 5
Ken Murray (guitar)
Performing music by Manuel de Falla, Joaquin Rodrigo, Angel Barrios, Garoto, João Pernambuco and original
compositions.
Concerts begin at 7pm.
