Graduate Careers
Many of our graduates have become noted performers, composers, educators, musicologists and music therapists, or they have occupied the most important offices in the music profession both in Australia and internationally. Other Faculty graduates have distinguished themselves outside music in government and business roles. Their achievements continue to enhance our excellent reputation.
Melbourne music graduates have been particularly prominent in leadership roles in the profession: as conductors, concertmasters of orchestras, founders of concert management agencies, heads of sound recording companies, music critics for major newspapers, principals of music schools, or in prominent positions in government Arts ministries.
