 Search Tools

There are a number of different resources available to help you in your search for materials related to your research topic. Their usefulness depends upon the type of material you are looking for.

For most purposes, the Library Catalogue should be your first port of call: the library catalogue is excellent for finding monographs, scores and recordings held at the University of Melbourne, but may not be of much use in tracking down periodical articles or individual items in collections of essays or in collected editions. Bibliographies or Indexing services are useful tools for locating these types of material.
